Building artists visually, strategically, and authentically.

Artist development isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about clarity, consistency, and connection.

I work closely with emerging artists to help shape their visual identity, digital presence, and creative direction. From branding and content creation to strategy-led visuals, I support artists in building a world around their music so they’re not just releasing songs into the void.

This work blends my background in music photography, content creation, and music business to create artist-led, audience-aware development.

Over the past 4 months, I’ve worked closely with RUoK on artist development and content creation, helping shape both the project's visual world and its online presence.

What I’ve supported:

  • Establishing a clear visual identity

  • Consistent content creation across platforms

  • Creative direction for shoots & visuals

  • Ongoing collaboration rather than one-off work

The approach:

Rather than isolated shoots, this work focuses on continuity — building recognisable visuals that evolve alongside the music. Everything is created with the audience in mind, while staying true to the artist.

Curating and promoting RUoK’s first headline show involved shaping a cohesive lineup and narrative that showcased the collective’s vision while appealing to a broader audience; alongside talent selection and venue coordination, I developed marketing media—posters, social visuals, and short promo clips—designed to capture the event’s energy and translate it across social platforms and email campaigns. On-site, I photographed the event with a focus on candid artist moments, audience interaction, and atmospheric detail, producing a gallery of images for immediate post-event promotion and archival use. The combined approach ensured strong ticket uptake, consistent visual branding, and a versatile media package to support RUoK’s future programming.
