Your Questions, Answered

I work with independent and emerging artists across three connected areas: artist development, creative direction, and visuals (photography and video). In practice that means everything from shooting your live shows and press shots to shaping your visual identity, planning content around a release, and helping you build a creative world your fans actually want to step into. Think of it as label-type creative support without needing a label.

Yes. Live show and event coverage is still very much something I do, whether you're an artist or a promoter running a night. That said, a lot of my work goes deeper than one-off shoots, so if you find yourself wanting consistent visuals that build over time, that's where artist development comes in. No pressure either way.

A shoot is a single moment captured well. Artist development is ongoing, we work together over weeks or months on your visual identity, content, and creative direction so everything feels connected and evolves alongside your music. It's the difference between a great photo and a recognisable world people associate with you.
-
It starts with a conversation about where you are and where you want to go. From there, we shape a plan, visual direction, content mapped to your releases and gigs, and creative direction for shoots, and work together on a rolling basis rather than project-by-project. Every artist's setup looks a little different, which is the point; it's built around you, not a fixed template.
-
It depends on scope; a single live shoot, a release campaign, and ongoing development are very different commitments, so I price around what the work actually involves rather than a one-size-fits-all rate. The best move is to get in touch with a bit about your project and I'll come back with options that fit.
-
You'll get images and content cleared for the use we agree on, your socials, press, releases, and so on. Some uses (like wider commercial or advertising use) sit outside the standard scope, so we'll just be clear on usage up front so there are no surprises later. If you're not sure what you'll need, tell me and we'll build it in.

I'm based in London and most of my live and shoot work happens here, but I do travel for the right projects, touring and festival coverage included. If you're outside London, get in touch and we'll work out the logistics.
-
For live shows, the sooner the better, dates get claimed quickly, especially around release periods. For development work, there's no rush; we can start with a conversation whenever you're ready.
-
Possibly, it depends on what you need and where you're at. I'd rather have an honest conversation about what's realistic than have you assume you can't afford to ask. Reach out and we'll figure out whether now's the right time or whether there's a smaller first step that makes sense.
-
A rough sense of your music, where you're at, and what you're hoping to achieve- plus any references or ideas you already have. You don't need it all figured out; half the value is shaping that together.
